Hi,
Just mulling over some new design of boat stands which are capable of being lifted in one hand must be light weight and afford to some protection of the sides.
Basically just want to be able to display and but in the water as well (maybe aluminium?)
Any good photos and examples welcome.

I like it! And you can use it to launch your boat, too. :-))

Great design,
On of our club members has exactly this design, but made in copper pipe. Does everything with it and won't deteriorate in any way.

I think I have seen something similar in PVC pipe. I hope to make one for my CG 36500, which is under construction.

Bluebird's may be better, wood tends to float O0 O0 %) %)
Pipes fill with water, unless airtight and are heavier.

I like it, and for display, you could clip/hang a name plate on the handle. You could also use the Tx tray for club leaflets, alternatively omit the Tx tray if you want to display a lot, and carry the Tx in a backpack.
