Can anyone identify this boat please, I only have a picture but am told its 1.5m long

Looks like a Fairmile D hull in 1/24 scale if that helps.

thanks for that Nick, would this be from a kit or ready built ?? there are cardboard boxes of other parts guns, tubes, and superstructure including crew, not got pictures of them yet.

It's deffo a Fairmile D "dog boat".  Check out "Allied Coastal Forces of World War II: Fairmile Designs and Us Submarine Chasers"  by John Lambert and Al Ross or "Conway's Anatomy of the Ship; Fairmile D" by John Lambert.  The two best references on the type.  PM me if you have trouble finding them, but you should be able to get them through your local library (if you still have one).

I think Deans did a kit and Christian at MTB Hulls does a hull.

This belonged to a deceased member of the club and his good lady has offered it to us to complete.
