Your guidance please, gentlemen...
My Jelly Bean has a Vision 400 motor running on a 9.6v 3500a/h battery pack...so what do you reckon for the prop size (which is in a 40mm id steering nozzle) ....35mm two blade plastic ( standard type, not an X type) or a 35mm three blade plastic one?
-
Two blade plastic. More pitch for dynamic diving thrust..
-
Thanks chap...two blade 'twill be.
-
Although........!
I cannot remember if the Vision 400 is a whizzy 400, or a 385 or 360 type, pretending to be something else. If it is a whizzy three pole one, I would change my advice to a 3 blade shallow pitch type. If a slower, 5 pole type, stick to the two blade type.
Whizzy Motor Wizard :}

Aah...now, according to my research, the Vision 400 is a 385 variant, quite happy to have 12volts shoved up it's five poles, and possessing loads of torque.
We shall see, oh wise one. 😶
And...is that yourself I see indulging in the delights of Facebook?
-
Shove that 12v where the sun don't shine :-))
...I have indeed decided to dip my toe into the joys, tears, bigotry and untruths that are Facebook, long may it continue, I feel so at home %)

Mind your feet then, chap...I'll see you on the dark side.
