Title: Solent Towage lineboat
Post by: Kevgarth on April 07, 2017, 11:29:46 pm
Hi there
I went out to the Dortmund model show in 2015 and saw a 1:32 scale line boat exactly like the one Solent towage use down at Fawley here in the UK, now my German is non-existent but I did manage to get my message / plea across to some of the guys out there regarding the hull of this model. The model isn't very long at tall as the picture of the full size craft is on a piece of A4 paper so it will give you an idea of the size.
I was told the gentleman who manufactured this hull had a motorcycle crash and had stopped making model boat hulls a few years before i.e 2013/2014 I was wondering if anyone on this site knew anything about this hull or if the master/plug had been passed on to someone else to produce this model?

Regards
Kevin

Hi Kev,
The Tug Asterix looks the same as your pic, but is 1:15 scale.
