Just saw this article in the Daily Mail, what fantastic photos.

Love this one of the Admiral Hipper in Dry Dock at Kiel. Looks like she has taken a right pounding....

As has the whole dockyard by the look of things! It is spooky seeing people from this era in colour especially in the case of the Dutch people celebrating (rather too early), and the fate that awaited them from the counter attack.

The image of the Sherman was interesting for the colour scheme of Mid stone and Black (New service colour) often used in Italy by the allies.
