Can any members recommend a good robust ESC for large motors like the Torpedo 850 or
The motors used in car radiator fans.
Without mentioning Action Electronics please.

Hi Sonar for my big boats 54" plus with big motors I use microgyros 40 amp ESCs, or viper 40 amps.

Hi Sonar,
If you're still looking, try this firm:
https://www.modellbau-regler.de/shop/index.php?cPath=1&MODsid=n26elp81ki6pkgc64ktj4c7fl0
As a bonus, these ESC's are silent in use, no whining of the motorwinding as less than full throttle.
Regards, Jan.

I am using 12 pole motors and after asking the suppliers about their esc.s I never seem to hear back from them so I guess most are not suitable.
But settled on Electronize now...

Did you think tugboyben was the only supplier of one tugmad recommended because I have no record of you enquiring?
His sale Link from (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rc-radio-controlled-model-boat-speed-controller-Micro-gyros-fr40amp-/332221841522?nma=true&si=OMOPSWzC6a4FjdYU62iwKbDlMYY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557) May 17th. That was never my price by the way.
