Macky Dee's/KFC/Costa's stirring sticks
Can you think of more uses for the noble stirring sticks we find in the above eating establishments.
please, no repeats and see if we can get 101 uses from them.
1] humbrol etc paint tin stirrers.
2] epoxy resin mixers.
3] polyester filler mixers.
just to start the ball rolling.

I use them when applying EMA glue, cut a nice long taper, dip it a few times then good to go, gets a nice accurate application just where you need it.

I am told that our Australian Parliamentarians have been seen in Canberra actually stirring their coffee in Coffee Shops with such wooden stirrer sticks
Naturally High Class type Canberran Coffee Shops......[not your average run of the Mill type shops that we peasant type folk might frequent if our Pension $ allowed such a treat :kiss:]....and so obviously I am a member of this latter group
I wonder if there are any members ;) who have lived or visited Canberra who could to confirm this? 8)

Having visited Canberra and partaken in the Parliament dining rooms you meet all types.
For instance, there was lots of us normal people, often referred to as cash cows and there were others in suits huddled together.
Some one said they were politicians and I remember recognising some of them when we sat in the house galleries, Green and Red.
In the house they acted really crazy, whereas in the dining room they appeared and acted normal just goes to show you.
Posh is not what I would describe it as %% %% %% {-) {-) {-)

I have eaten dinner in an Hotel bistro in a suburb some 5 km for Lake Burley Griffin.......
The degree of Poshness wasn't on the agenda, however the steak & beer was ..... O0
You may be aware that the mere mention of a Political nature here on MBM could result in a Moderator sending the poster to Coventry for an extended period with only bread & water [I have been to Coventry]
Accordingly I must not mention <*< the names of any person [Political or not] who has resided in Canberra
From Primary School, Coventry was for the manufacture of pottery/crockery...... have you ever been to this City by name or nature?.....[Coventry that is] :-X

PS....you may or my not know [depending on your degree of studies] that Burley Griffen bloke didn't like squares, hence our National Capital is a series of circular roads & all that reside in a circle......however our new Parliament House is a little newer than the old House, however the are diametrically opposed in a straight line & across a water pond......from your school training, or experience......you probably only know the old House %)

There are some nice people in Canbra'. My sister in law and her extended family to start with but they are not into model boats <:(
There must some more as there a is Fleet Base of Task Force 72 there :-))

Hi I used them for the vehicle ramps on my Ogdensgerg ferry. They look OK.
I was at a private function where posh coffee was served and I asked for the discarded stirers and picked up a handful before I left. I had to sort through 30 or more to find 8 'good' ones. It really is crap wood, just good for a one time stir.

I have an avid gardener friend who uses the stirrers to mark planted seedlings. Easily written on with pencil or fine marker pen.

Hi guys
I,ve just used them to make the bulwark supports on my polystyrene tug. Saves an awful lot of slicing and shaping, also easy to laminate to adjust thickness. Try it Wetverno :police:
