Post by: chipchase on June 06, 2017, 09:22:23 AM
Hi all just been going through some photos and came across these of a model Bismarck i took a few years ago, she was built by a fantastic model builder, sadly he is no longer with us i think the detail is out of this world. i have reduced the size to be able to post so you might not get the best resolution.

WOW! There is no loss of resolution on those pictures. It must have taken the skilled gent years to do with all that detail added.

she was built at 96th scale Batfish the builder was Malcom Duggon, i am not sure that is the correct spelling of his surname.
if you do a search for Bismark you will find quite a few photos of her and Nelson, another great model built by Brian Chambers.

I am not sure how long it took Malcom to build the Bismarck, I think it could have been about three years
