Title: What rating ESC
Post by: MayJay on June 30, 2017, 01:37:16 pm
Hi All

I have 'Model Slipways' 'Maggie M' with an MFA Torpedo 500 geared 6:1 running of a 12v 7ah gell cell.
Question? what rated ESC should I buy for safety? and do you have any recommendations? There are so many on the market. :-))

thanks in advance.

Any non-oriental ESC rated for 12 volts or more and at least 15A for safety.  Action, Mtronics, Electronise, Microgyros spring to mind.  If buying from oriental fleabay, divide the claimed current handling by at least 10.
