Title: seaking esc 60a v3

hello fellow hobbyists!!
If you can advise me on this i will be so grateful,
I have a Seaking 60A v3 esc but cant seem to program it from the tx ?? If i cant get it going in the next few days i may succumb to purchasing a program card but would love to be able to get it going whilst on holiday.
I cant seem to get past the initial cycling beeps of 1 through to 4 regardless of what i do with the throttle,
Also in regards to the instructions for the esc do i follow them in chronological order or do i need to program the esc first??
have tried lots of variants but just cant seem to crack it,
