Spotted this - Gosport Ferries are running cruises to see the USS George H W Bush whilst it's on a visit to the Solent. Booking looks heavy, but there are still spaces.

These carriers are so big, you can park in Stokes Bay car park and get a clear view for fraction of the cost , plus get a nice cup of coffee from the café there. That's what I did last time one came here, though looking at her flight deck with all those jets, you might need a stiff drink, to think they could take out our RAF!!!

Did a loop around the Big E [same Nimitz Class] many years ago when she was moored in Sydney Harbour......you don't see much from water level......just a lot of gray paint {-)

We got a good view of one from the Isle of Wight car ferry a year or so ago.
