hi guys,  I have a few plans of ww2 uss kidd.  It shows hull lines wish im fine with.
 Just wondering how i make keel, I was going to drawing of outline of side view of hull and cut out from this. Any help greatly appreciated.

I often cut the stern and bow from plywood, and dowel that onto a stick of hardwood or something.
Could be a stick of plywood if you like.

Umi, those plans on the bottom pic look very interesting - what ship plans are they?

Captpayne - if you have a look at the Masterclass section, under Cervia build; there is a good bit of detail there on transferring lines/keel constructions.
