Title: I/12th AeroKits Solent Lifeboat - Fitting Set

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can still get hold of the fittings set for a 1/12th AeroKits Solent Lifeboat.

Ok found Models by Design set, what does it contain?

I think you,ll find it a none goer as I asked Andy a few years ago for one but was told he had none left and the metcafts made them for him but the moulds had now worn out and Dave was not going to make another and now Dave's  retired cant see them ever being redone. That what I was told  If you ever find one please let me know as I also need one for my Solent  Lifeboat

Have a look at Model Slipway, they show on their website fittings for 1/12th lifeboats?  I have used them quite a lot for my lifeboats and are very good.

There is an article on restoring the Aerokits Solent Class lifeboat by Andy Cope in the September edition of Model Boats out this week. He sourced his fittings from Model Slipway and Mac's Mouldings.
