Hi Cobby, from the pics, it looks like he used a dark grey primer as the upper colour, and a red primer for the lower hull colour, as to the props, they look to be racing type about 35 - 40 mm, not a good choice as the model is "tank" steered. 3 blade 35mm contra rotating props would be a lot better. All this depends on the motors that are fitted, 360, 400 types would be about right.

You might have to mix the paint to get the right tone but a final coat of semi matt clear coat would leave a nice even finish.

Hope this helps, more detail about the model would be helpful

ok thanks,
I measured using caliper and the shaft gives 2,8mm..as diameter...so a prop 3M could be ok ?
I measured the diameter of propeller blade and gives more than 35mm so I think will be ok a 35mm and this is sure....even if I 'm going to use 5 blades..buta 35mm 5 Blade C-Type Propeller is 4M.....and for 4 blade M3 I have (174 series) 25mmDo
you Have any Idea of which Prop did he used?
regards

Sovereign Miniatures sell the White Ensign Russian Navy colours in enamel.

The hull colour should be Russian Northern Fleet Grey - Original code(not sure if this is still used) is WEMCC M11.

The hole in the hull between the props is to let water into the switch which prevents the props from working when the ship is not in water.

Hi mate, think you might have steering problems with one rudder, they need to be inline with the propwash, no probs with one ESC for 2 motors

There are quite a few kits with only one central rudder and twin props.

Billings have at least two that I am aware off, one of them being Samson II, which is a thread  is on this forum, the other is Polar.

I do not know if will be ok one rudder....
I "drove" this Smasher with only his motors to turn and It was ok so I think will be better using a rudder and motors to turn.... I will test and if not I will change with  2 rudders
thanks anyway

The single rudder approach works well,if the props are rotating inboard,i.e looking at the stern of the boat, port shaft /clockwise and starboard shaft/anti-clockwise. This was how I set up my conversion to run and it still gives you a decent turning circle. Personally,I just went with 2x 25mm 3-bladed Raboesch props. Both motors run constantly, the steering only comes from the rudder.
