Title: COALVILLE SHOW 2018 IMPOTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

it is with sadness in our hearts that Iain and Myself have to announce that the 2018 show at Coalville will NOT go ahead.


As a lot of you know I personally have put a lot of work into this show behind the scenes Not only with Mark but asp with Iain and to say I am deflated is an understatement but HEY HO it was Darned good whilst it lasted



There is simply not enough footfall through the doors to support the trade and the actual costs of the show.......total lack of support from the local clubs was also a kick in the teeth ...


We wish to THANK all the clubs that have supported us and also the traders without them the show wouldnt have happened and obviously the paying public.


Without a doubt Our personal thanks must go to the Centre Manager Duncan who has bent over backwards to accomodate us.




Onwards and upwards Blackpool Show is STILL ON

That's a real shame Stavros I enjoyed the show this year even if I could only make it for one day ☹️

Not to be enjoyed again - - but lots of good Memories !.

Anyone willing to put in their time and effort to run shows like this deserve the highest praise. Unfortunately many variables can make a great event uneconomical to run. As Stavros says, onwards and upwards. Well done with what can be a thankless task and don't let the naysayers get you down...you know they couldn't organise a knees up at a brewery :-))

I would like to thank Stavros & Ian along with families for devoting their time and effort to
Put on the boat shows and I for one will be making visits as long as I am able to to
support the event.

That's very sad. I always looked forward to the Coalville show every year.
