Be sure to use a decal fix such as Solvaset before you put a clear sealer over the decals. This will set the decal down over ridges and rivets and securely fasten the decal to the surface. A variety of clear over coats can be used as long as they don't damage the plastic the decal is applied to, from varnish to testor's glosscoat, or dull coat.

Hi,
First make sure the surface you're putting the decals on is a gloss finish or you will get what's called silvering , as others have said use a setting solution I use microscale's micro sol and micro set then once dry use any varnish you like gloss, semi, or Matt.
