Ha! I think most of us would have done that.  ;)  I just wonder how often people found themselves on the wrong side of the channel, after the ice breaker had passed through.  {:-{

that video was taken in the 1920's [ or should I say cine film if one wishes to be pedantic].........perhaps if taken in our modern era........ladies would also actually be taking part too............not unheard of ladies being loonies and full of adventure now a days

Well you can still do this kind of caper and find out what they do when they find themselves on the wrong side of the channel up in   Kemi in Finland on the  icebreaker "Sampo", now run as a tourist attraction. Definitely on my to do list, just the trip and reindeer soup dinner not the swimming !!!!   Are ye daft  :o !
