Nice work and good to see someone using a building jig ok2 , it astounds me how many people i see building boats without using a building jig to keep things square and straight . Look forward to seeing how she comes together , any pics of the real thing to show us what she will be like . Thanks for sharing.

Drilling of the holes of aspiration in the hull and the outputs jets.

I keep reading the title of this thread as Delta S4, a very different thing!
Great progress so far though, and she looks like she will be a very pretty boat when finished!

Hello !
Hull : after filling with cement epoxy F18 and sandpapering.
-
Great to see traditional boat building. Building on a jig with larger models is critical. The integral chine rails should be very effective. My freelance model in 1975 had similar.

Surprisingly not brushless motors! I converted all my boats to brushless with big weight savings and power increases. However, it looks a good set up.

Davo,
Concerning brushless motors, I'll see later . I put Power 700/13 Turbo Robbe because I had seen on KMB site an article with a yacht NAJADE fitted with those motors and KMB hydrojets KAMEWA.
The sailing seemed to be realistic. Delta 54 is not a sport boat !
I will see after testing ! "To convert or not to concert, that is the question" :embarrassed:
You are not the one to say that.

The swim platform that can be removable
-
Lovely workmanship. I think you would see not only more power but quite a weight saving in the stern should you decide to go over brushless motors.
It may be worth considering a swim platform that only projects out as far as the thruster nozzles. This could then be left in place.
Looking forward to the next pictures.

Hi,
nice boat! do you post more details somewhere else? I'm interested to know how you made the round door.
Salut, tiens tu un build log plus détaillé quelque part? la manière dont tu as réalisé la porte ronde m'intéresse!

Hi !
Have a look at your mail adress !
With a sheet of plexiglas, it's easy to bend it.

The addition of interior detail turns it from a model boat into something rather more special; and much more interesting when just on display.
Super model. I imagine Tracy from Thunderbirds would be the owner!
Have you ordered those brushless motors yet! Worth it for the weight savings alone........

Hello !
Delta 54 on water.
I am very satisfied with the good performance of the boat on water !I did not equipped with brushless motors; I kept Robbe motors 700/13 Turbo 9,6 V .No heat from motors because there is a lot of free space inside the hull !
Weight: 3,8Kg
