Title: NOT ALWAYS BUILDING LIFEBOATS
Post by: Neil on December 24, 2017, 08:51:17 pm

how many of us men have been given a gift from our long passed on mums...........

my mothers gift to me was how to make a b****y good sherry trifle, and on special occasions, I rise to the challenge.

here is my efforts to take to my brothers home where we are sharing Christmas dinner together.......I'll also take the Rioja and a few strong beers.

first the Swiss roll goes into the bowl, followed by a can of raspberries' with juice to soak in, and into that a liberal sprinkling of Crofts original cream sherry.

next to go in is the strawberry jelly, followed by proper thickly made custard from milk and Birds custard powder.

followed by whipped double cream and topped with grated milk chocolate and fresh strawberries............yummy.....sod the pressies, just bring on the meal.  O0 O0 O0
