what sort of connectors come on the motor wires (blue and yellow) on the mtroniks marine 15 Speed Controller ?
Which connectors do I need to buy to plug into them ?
Thanks

depends which motor, most come bare (no connectors) to give you the choice

if unsure best bet is contact the shop/seller & ask them if it comes pre-wired & what connectors are used :)

My Viper 15 came with the female half of a bullet connector on each motor wire. Obviously, you have to source the male bit from somewhere like Maplin or Halfords. Sensible, really, because if the motor spins the wrong way, its easy to reverse the connection. Haven't used the brushless version, though.

Hi Gardener
I use the red size of male bullet crimp connections , no problems so far

Just not from maplin ,try a local car parts shop

If I recall correctly, the white plastic plug is often known as a Tamiya Plug at the hobby shops.
It could also be a Kyosho, but the only difference would be that the pins were reversed inside the plug proper.

If you google Mtronics -or just go to their website it shows bullet connectors (same as you can get from Halfords or Maplins). Or on that ESC page it shows a set of motor leads available pre-wired for something like £1.99?

World is your oyster -use whatever connector you want if you cut the wires. Nothing wrong with chock block of suitable rating if you don't have suitable crimp pliers.
