Just a heads up.... I was after some 1.5mm brass rod of at least 700mm in length for some railings but most of what I could find online was up to a max of 500mm.
Then I came across these guys on ebay:
2K Technologies Limited.
Models, Toys and Hobbies,
Ryders Court
Denholme Gate Road,
Hipperholme,
Halifax. HX3 8JQ
Tel: 01422 209789
They supplied the rods in packs of 2 at 36" lengths and although they cost just over £12, get this.... they were really well packaged, came in a plastic tubs AND they strapped the whole lot to a piece of timber so not even the postie could bend it!!
Here's a link to their ebay shop. (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/2K-Technologies-Limited-Yorkshire?_trksid=p2047675.l2563)
They also have a website (http://www.2ktechnologies.com/).
Special thanks go to Julie B and Craigie for taking care with the packaging and prompt despatch.
