Yes excellent........thanks for sharing Danielle :-))
Apart from wooden slabs [assumed as kiln or naturally aged? as arriving on the trailer]...the galvanised spikes.....just hammered in to predrilled holes
I did see a little Coppercoat near the bow timbers..

Oh for TV documentries to be like that! No repetition, no snap change shots, no making the craftsmen look like fools, getting them to say innane twaddle instead of info worth hearing.
I am sure shipwrights down the ages would have given their eye teeth for power tools, but it was pleasing to see the master craftsman adjusting his build with an adze, not an electric planer, not a power file, an adze. The shipwrights who built the Mary Rose and the Victory would have watched and appreciated that (as well as going 'Mary on a Donkey, what are those whiney tools the apprentices are weilding?')
Thanks for sharing Danielle, I will look out for more.

Hi I echo all of that, an excellent video. The boat was not just lengthened but changed its shape, bow etc. I like the way he was working from a half model and created the full size and it all fitted! I expect they built the boat in the first place but nevertheless great workmanship.
Thanks for finding that, I did not understand the French but the camera work made it unecessary.
