Title: A burner to save space
Post by: rhavrane on February 10, 2018, 09:35:54 pm
On one of my latest steam plants, I needed to save space in front of the boiler, so I acquired a vertical burner made by Nigel, alias Pendlesteam. First, I tested it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7BvLdwiGB0 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7BvLdwiGB0) then installed it in the boiler : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Nd5KxzVkQo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Nd5KxzVkQo) ==> positive result  :-))

Rhavrane, I know you have been looking at my post 7th boiler. My burners are almost like this one from Nigel. The difference the, tube holding the jet passes right across inside the back of the main tube. this keeps the length but saves more space. With the twin boiler the burners are very close. Hammer.

Bonjour Hammer,
This exchange is very interesting and I have created a topic to generalize it to all burners  :-))
