Title: Problems setting up the ITMH Co Pilot
Post by: tugmad on March 31, 2018, 08:00:37 am
has anybody set up these Co Pilot schottel control units before?
I have been trying to get these to work but can’t get passed the stage 5 on the instructions.
I have two Bauer models all brass schottel units with T12 motors and 360 degree servos, with belt drives, and two graupner speed controllers, these go with the Bauer models SST1 control boards, and a graupner Hott 20 handset fitted with two IMTH co pilots, so all should work together, But it don’t for some reason.
So any ideas or help would be gratefully received.
All goes well with the set up until stage 5 where the unit should turn around until bought to a stop by using the Co pilot ,but all it does is go around 2 or 3 times and stop and the set up light goes out, this is happening to both units not just one so what can be the problem, I have contacted the manufactures in Hamburg but as yet still waiting for a reply.     Yours an extremely frustrated George.

Try contacting Glendarby, he seems to have been successful at setting his up.

Thanks Umi,  I think I have the solution now, I had the magnet that operates the sensor in totally the wrong place, so some rebuildingis now on the way, thanks again.  George.

That was my first thought, spacing of sensor and magnet, but as I haven't had the
good fortune to play with an IMTH, I didn't want venture any advice.
