Title: Help to identify an old model
Post by: Jukebox on April 10, 2018, 04:28:58 pm

Hi, Just purchased this lovely old boat. I did think it may be a Aerokits Sea Nymph, but clearly it is not. Anyone recognise it ?
Its about 18 inches long. Thanks John

Look a bit like a Sea Nymph, but with more windows by Lesro about the same length at 18 1/4" also has similar lines of the Fairey Huntress but with a front split screen. May be built from a plan.

Hi John...Thanks for reply. It would appear to be kit built. I have found a few other photos of the same model, but as of yet no Identification..

LOL, unusal.. very much.. {-)

I want to sell some thing ..... but I don't want to take calls
I don't want to be in when I said I should be.
I offer to hold it for some one who has constantly called and tried to collect but sell it to the first holiday maker that calls..  <*<

Yep she really anoyed me.. I wanted it for my 10 year old to start to learn to restore, sand and paint and fit out.. hence why i was so keen.. So if any one has some thing like it eg old boat they never got round to sorting in wood that needs TLC ( learning on ) then PLEASE PLEASE let me know..

Hey ho.. I will calm down in a few years  ;)  not your fault.. stupid seller. Mind you the lot on Hayling Island are odd what with their webbed feed  ;D

Just a thought, but how about making a Moonglow ? Vic Smeed plan..  Only needs a bout seven panels Very easy construction..I made one with my step daughter over a couple of evenings..We scaled it down 50%. Very quick to build simple nice model..And performed really well.I think plans are probably still  available..Someone might have some used ones ?
