Title: My other money-spenders

Two of my other hobbies; diecast motorcycles, of which I have around 450, in 1:24, 1:18 and 1:12 scale, and my 1969 Coronet 21 Explorer II, which I've been restoring in phases over the past three years.  I have managed to obtain line drawing for the Coronet hull, so hope to build a model of it at 1:10 scale, giving me a 64cm hull length.

That is a great collection of bikes Chris, they look superb  :-))


I like the coronet 21, GRP hull aren't they?


What engine is in her? I know that some had a Volvo Penta.

Thanks eddiesolo. Yeah she's fibreglass. Originally had a 100hp volvo penta petrol engine but 1989 saw her repowered and she now has a 130hp diesel volvo penta. Good for 28 knots and only burns 18 litres an hour cruising at 20 knots.
