hi ,first of all thanks for letting me join this very useful forum..My name is Roy and I live in Newbury West Berkshire. I am a 72year old with the mind of a twenty year old ..I am a total novice of all aspects of model boat making ,construction and radio control so I hope that I can get help and encouragement from you experienced modellers ..I have just obtained a part built model of MV Conserver which needs a lot of finishing ,so I hope I can get some help from you all later when I start to really look at it...thanks in advance Roy

Lucky you ok2 and a very warm welcome to the forum Roy. I'm 81 and tell everyone I never really grew up, and don't intend doing so - ever, I'm having too much fun {-) The down side is that my mind makes appointments that my body can no longer keep {:-{ , but who cares.
Enjoy Mayhem.
Peter.

Your'e never too old to take up boat modelling, but you can be too old to chase around the pond trying to catch hold of em. As I have found out. I am 82 so claim seniority over all so far.
