Did Mobile Marine Models ever produce Hulls in Grey plain fiberglass?
-
All the hulls I've seen are produced in orange fibreglass. I understand this is meant to represent rust if the paint work is damaged.
-
Also all Brians hulls have the proper Mobile Marine stickers bonded into ALL his hulls

If you think you have a copy please contact Brian in the morning as he will be very grateful of any info you can give him if it is a copy.
as Dave has already said M.M.M All have a numbered sticker glassed to the inside. and the buyer is registered and Brian keeps a record.
Regards Howard.

yes, the first hulls were produced in grey, but Brian decided to change the colour so as any chips looked like rust. All MM hulls should have a sticker glassed into them.
-
Thanks for the info, the hull I have does have a lable glassed into the inside, will check it tomorrow.
-
not a copy then.
Regards Howard.

Had a reply from Bryan, he thinks it's at least 20 years old possibly an original production Hull, least it's genuine :-))
