THE first Christmas advert has just been on TV...………...advertising artificial Balsom Hill Christmas trees.


grrrrrrrrr.


give is a break.…………….the best summer in years, and they are advertising Christmas trees on St Swithuns day...…..you don't understand just how annoying this is to people who suffer from SAD

I understand clearly Neil the C word should be banned till the twelve days before  and NO sooner  Snow should only be on cards and soon we will get Easter eggs before Boxing day and Martin will be putting the Winter signage up in August <*< ,

We appear to be able to purchase Hot Cross Buns 365 days per year on OZ  {-)

Well words can be funny things.....and in the context of par-baking Hot Cross Buns......

"The par baking process has drawn the ire of a number of shoppers this year"

So does the "ire" come from Ireland? :-X

on a serious note, I suspect "ire" and "irate" are related more so than to anything Irish.

I'm for making it illegal for politicians to announce for office more than 6 months before an election.  I would say 3 months, but they would never be able to hold back 'til then.   ;) <*<

Having occasionally worked in large bakeries there are a lot of heavy mixers and rolling equipment involved in bread, rolls and croissant production.  If you do not see them the mix process is being done elsewhere.

August last year I was in Glasgow in one of the shops already had a Christmas display.


Did notice the the use before date was 24th December for some of the food  :o
