Well, I never thought that when I went to my college's 50th Anniversary on Saturday night I would meet up with a Peer of the Realm who bought me a pint of Newcastle Brown ale on my first day of freshers week,48 years ago and said......….don't look so frightened, you'll have a great time here.....I have done, its a great place. Mike Storey put my mind at ease, and I had a wonderful 3 years.
Bless you Mike, or should I say Lord Storey,I only wish you'd have let me buy you a return pint on Saturday night to say thanks for those kind words all those years ago. O0 :-)) ;)
just a pity Willie Russell who was in my same education group wasn't there.....he'd have had one,lol.
