I was perusing the posts on Mayhem yesterday when I came across a picture of HMS Queen Elizabeth, the new carrier in WW2 "splinter" dazzle camouflage. Alternating light and dark stripes, quite striking. I was fooled for a moment and realised it was a spoof. The picture had shown up on Twitter apparently.
I came back a little later to look at the picture again but haven't been able to find it.
Has it been deleted? Was it ever really there? Did I imagine it or am I losing my mind!

You are not losing your mind. A simple Google search found the image in question.
Does look a bit weird though ! Probably to disguise the lack of F-35's.

Thanks Bob, but I was specifically talking about the image that was on Mayhem. I found the image quick as anything via Gooble but here on Mayhem it's just gone...

Must have had a few tins of paint left over from when they did the M33.
