ok. this is marked as HMS Euryale cruiser 1898. I cannot find anything that looks like this for the year or the name. so over to you guys. while on this subject, I'm supposed to be repainting it in a Victorian colour scheme. red lower hull, white water line, black upper hull, the white and buff. what paint colour for the buff and is there any reference to where to paint what colours???

The name is probably Euryalus but neither of the RN ships of that name around that period looked anything like that. It resembles some sort of Russian cruiser.

it's not a pelorus class. similar but not quite right. was looking at Arrogant class but the same. not quite there

to me, it looks as though someone has modified a Deans Marine Skirmisher, Scout class light cruiser

Monmouth class as in HMS Suffolk? Circa 1901...
