Something for your amusement...
I'm getting married in a few weeks time. At the stag night, my Best Man had prepared two quizzes - one on naval history (Which ship is this?, Who commanded the French at Trafalgar? etc), the other on my future wife (What is her favourite film, song, book etc... ).
I scored over 90% on naval history, but only 60% on SWMBO....
I'm in deep trouble!
James

:} :} That would be about the same ratio for those married blokes here :} :}
-
I thought 60% was pretty good. :-)) As long as she doesn't find out about the naval history score :-X

Congratulations, you have got the rest of your married life to learn more about your intended
I've been married to the same woman for 48 years and I'm still learning.
You just let them think they are in charge.
My wife Gave me permission to say that {-)
Hope you have a long happy life together.
John

I was going to say that, but John's beaten me to it! 35 years in my case.
We have two coffee mugs - "Mr Right" and "Mrs Always Right". Much hilarity when my granddaughter (5, going on 18!) asked me to explain it to her. "Does it mean that Nanny is always right, Grandad?" "Er, yes, even when she's wrong...." Puzzled look from granddaughter and frown from SWMBO!
May you have many happy years together!

Firstly, congratulations on your impending marriage James, secondly, the scores of the two quizzes sound about right :-)) I've been married (to the same woman) for over 58 years and, like John, I'm still learning. One thing I have learned is that the definition of experience is not making the same mistake twice :}
Peter.

Whoever gave you a score of 60% obviously did not know much about your future wife. :embarrassed:
When you have been married for a few years you will realize that NO ONE knows even 5% about their wife. {:-{ :(( >:-o

Really ? quizzes on a stag night
-
If it is any consolation to you I have been married for over 40 years & I don't think that my wife has a favourite film, song or book - I certainly don't! If we were asked those questions goodness only knows what answers we would give & they certainly would not match.
PS she confirmed that she doesn't.
-
Well done on the 90%, the other is irrelevant.
-
As long as you had a good time and have started revising your future wife :-)

I think I would be more concerned about how the best man knew as much as he did!Roy
