Title: Ben Ain lights.
Post by: gt6uk on September 13, 2018, 10:56:35 am
I am building a Mountfleet Ben Ain. I am new to building model boats and know nothing about the real boats and was hoping someone could tell me if a 1920's coaster would have had bulkhead working lights. If so in what areas would they be?

Regards,
Steve.

No it wouldn't.  The Mount Fleet Ben Ain kit includes all the parts you need to complete the model and bulkhead lights are not included.  In the 1920s it would be normal for lamps on small coastal vessels to be oil and, as such only absolutely necessary lighting would be used.
