Title: Neil's Nee [Knee]

"after a fall on sunday night had been misdiagnosed slightly and although I do have tendon and ligament damage, they found today on re viewing my xrays that I have a fractured knee, and need to go tomorrow to the Fracture clinic at the hospital"...…

my lot wouldn't even bring me a chair so I could sit down in my workshop, they watched as I struggled with the kitchen stool through the house.

yours sound like my two, phil...….totally oblivious to my pain and discomfort, ……..but they will hand me a beer when I need another...…

yes...…….been riding big motorcycles off and on for nearly 50 years and never a scratch......trip over a duvet, and I have broken completely off, the small triangular bit of bone at the top of my Tibia, and bruised the Fibula...….So technically I've broken my leg...…..but sod all they can do for it in the position it has broken in, but as the doc said.....it's like toes...… we just put them in a brace and let them heal themselves.

I can assure you mate...…….i'm not...….it hurts every single minute of the day...….and i'm sinking ibuprofen and paracetamols every 3 hours...…..its horrible......have been in tears this last week at times...……..might have been 40 years ago...…..but old age ain't nowt to shout home about, I assure you.

Could be worse mate My knee was split open a month ago by a simple fall in the house, having tired old skin does not help I will post a pic mate, good luck with yours...……….

thanks colin……...with plenty of pain killers[required dose of course, ]and a beer before bed time, and its bear[or should I say] beerable,

thanks peter...….don't actually know which hurts more now...….my leg...…...or my bum , I've sat on it so much, lol. {-) O0
