Passed through Liverpool today, couldn't park near the QE2, too many other gongoozlers, so I snapped a couple of tugs in Birkenhead

 The tugs are now owned by Smit towing after a take over of Adsteam early this year
they are voith type, but will eventually be replaced by ASD tugs similar to the two new
ones that sailed in early this year one of which I am building the plug for,

here sheis entering the tyne last sunday,, she took 4 times to enter because of the high winds,

what is to happen to her now? is she to spend her life as a floating hotel, tied up for all eternity or is she going to spend her life as a cruise ship in dubai?

at least she will probably remain in good condition though, its a shame she is going to be tied up for all eternity now

Last time I was on her she'd just come back from the Falklands, looked a bit different then.

At least in Dubai they can afford to keep her in good nick.

going on her in January to new york .she is the escort ship to the new queen Victoria . in new york there will be the 3 queens there together for one time only . hope fully should be good
