Just a mention of the Midhurst Show in Sussex on next Sunday. There doesn't seem to be a dedicated website but some info here:
http://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/events/17474-GrangeCommunityAssociationExhibition
Usually the show is 40% boats, 40% trains and the rest various other types of modelmaking. Well worth a visit if you are anywhere near.

Hi Colin
Will you be going to this, if so do try and drop by the Swiss Cottage Model Boat Club Stand.
-
Fred,
Yes, I will cover the show for Model Boats magazine and will certainly say hello.
It is many years since I last sailed at Swiss Cottage, do I understand from your website that you meet on Thursdays?

I used to like that show and attended with Bognor Regis Military modelling club for about 23 years.

I bought many a reference book out of Bognors Bargain Box over the years, still got all of them!

Good to see you today Fred and very much enjoyed the show. I will certainly try to get along to some of your club get togethers when the weather improves.
I was very pleased to see the tribute to Tony Olliff and to hear that his superb models have been donated to the RNLI stations to which they belong where they can be appreciated by the crews and visitors. I think that is a very fitting memorial to Tony.

Hi Colin
It was good to see you again, yes it is a very good show and it has not lost any of its appeal from when I last attended twenty one year's ago.
You will be most welcome at any time to come along to our meetings.
All the best Fred
