Title: Severn Class by Jim Pinner
Post by: Taranis on March 29, 2019, 11:28:12 pm
:-))  Jim just announced her as finished after many years. Very hard to find such a level of fanatical detail as displayed over the last winter months on facebook. Maybe you saw her at Blackpool last year?
I hope Jim will send me more pictures to add  :-)  although he didn't know I would post this  {-)

Great news! I've conned Jim into joining us  {-)
Better news I have more pictures  :-)
I could go huge but I'll keep them average as I don't know the impact on different devices .

Jim and Taranis,
That is a really wonderfully detailed build - a real credit to model boat building, yourself and your Club and remind folk of the RNLI - it's almost lifesize!. That ought to inspire a few viewers and other modellers. It has brought back happy memories of the many trips out I have had on the Newhaven 17-21 in the past.
Cheers,
Kim [C.C.]

What scale is she?  It seems bigger than 1/12, but perhaps that's just the wonderful impression of size given by the amount of detail and the lovely photos.
