The engine for a boat I'm building arrived today, thought I'd share with the masses %)
This thing is a 35cc Magnum disc valve motor, is putting out 11.5hp at 18,000rpm. The carb is the size of a 21 crankcase, with a venturi the size of a 45 sleeve. I haven't weighed it yet, but it's not exactly what you'd call light...
Shall be going in a 56" mono, expecting speeds well over 60mph

Not for boat use but here is my largest engine. A UMS 7-90, a 90cc 7 cylinder petrol 4 stroke radial, turns a 24 x 10 propellor. Fitted to a quarter scale Stearman. A short video of it being test run.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CDbE7LtzgU (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CDbE7LtzgU)

Thanks, the plane is being refurbished at the moment but it may be ready to fly for next weekend if the weather is good.
