Well that was a wasted 2hr drive, got there at 1215 and no sign of a snack van, no clubs (club models) there either.
Admittedly it was a tad breezy but by 1.30 most traders were packing away, I saw one of Deans Marine models get broken so that will have left a bitter taste for the journey home.
Nevertheless I still came away with a couple of bits that I wanted so all was not lost plus of course it don't cost owt to get in.
Maybe have a rethink for next year and host it a month later or hire a village hall and charge a pound to get in, disheartening to see new release models broken.
I would also suggest that MMM get all their models together in one area so that you can see the whole range, was looking to possibly purchase an Ayton Cross but didn't even see that model on display :-(
-
It was a pretty damning weather forecast so that must have taken its toll.
I would have gone if I wasn't holiday packing 8) just bad timing

I went down at 10.30am by invitation of Bryan to collect my ov-01 hull which was ready. It was manic so only had a brief chat with two builders of the same model (Oceanic Vega and Sirius) and made my way home with a rather large hull.Current joke in our house is that the hull is a Kayak for our two Jack Russells %)
Lots of projects to finish before I start and on top of that we are moving house next month so not much happening in the way of model building.
Kind Regards
Nigel

Well, I’d like to say thanks to Mobile Marine Models for once again putting on this traders fair, I spent some money on parts for my next project which means I can start it sooner than expected! Yes the weather wasn’t brilliant and the snack van disappearing before lunch was not helpful but I enjoyed talking to the traders and seeing some new kits that are available.
I have to say that if you get there in the afternoon you will see less as it’s not an all day event which is why I always get there early, usually between 09:30 and 10am to get the most from this kind of event.
I look forward to the Christmas Cracker later this year for my next visit to Ingham :-))
