Title: Wicksteed Park MBC Heritage Display

Hi everyone


I’ve not placed this directly with the Mayhem at Wicksteed threads as this is a separate event being held by Wicksteed Park over the same weekend as our show.


In the main complex within the park there is a building called the Heritage Centre and for the Mayhem weekend there will be a display of the history of Wicksteed Park Model Boat Club and some historic model boats on show by Dennys Warren, the last Chairman of Wicksteed Model Yacht and Power Boat Club before it disbanded in the 1990s.
The display will be open from 11am to 4pm daily over the weekend and has some interesting photos, model boats, and the club’s silverware from the 1920/30s on show.

Is that in the Wicksteed main center complex Nick?

Yes it is, it’s the newest looking building in the park!
