King Lear Model Boat Club would like to invite model Lifeboaters to the East Midlands Lifeboat Day on Sunday 16th June 2019, starting at around 10:00am at Watermead Country Park North, Wanlip, Leicestershire, LE7 1PD.  All Lifeboaters are welcome for an informal and friendly event where like minded owners of model Lifeboats can get together so bring a boat and have a sail.  There are toilet facilities in the Country Park.  We hope to provide food and hot drinks on the day as there are no catering facilities in the park. There are however two pubs within two miles of the Country park where ‘pub grub’ is available[/color][/font][/size]

This coming Sunday is our Lifeboat Day.  The weather is looking up so it should be a good day.
