Hi all,
My name is Ray and have just joined the forum.
I’ve been building and flying rc model aircraft for most of my life, but was forced to sell all the gear when my 1st wife stitched me up!
My son requested an rc boat for his 8th birthday and ,rather than go for the instant gratification of an rtr model, I decided to build something for him.
The Aeronaut Diva construction is well under way and I’m already thinking about my next build. This is an addictive hobby!
Thanks for letting me join this forum
All the best
Ray

I've just read Ray's post and don't see any mention of a model railway.  {:-{ Dave.

Ah, now I see it in the background, silly moi!

Hello Ray and welcome to the forum.

It's good to see you're posting with photos, we love them on here  O0
If you decide to post photos of your railway layout (as you can see the interest above) you can start a new thread in the "other hobbies & interests" section. This will keep your current thread clear for later updates on your build  :-))

Regards,
Ray.

Welcome to the forum Ray,

I have a Diva Kit that I am slowly building so will be watching yours with great interest.
Please post as many photos as you can.
A Build Log (BLOG) would be very much appreciated. With as much information included, such as problems encountered, type of glue used, paint, varnish.
Being an experienced plane modeller, you may have a few hints and tips to share.
I've decided to upgrade the prop shaft to a bigger size with a brass prop and a brushless motor. But, as i have said, i am making painfully slow progress because other stuff keeps getting in the way.
Good luck with your build.
Ian.
