Title: Scale steering at Balne Moor 21 July

We'll be having a scale steering event at Balne Moor on Sunday 21st July. Why not come along and have a go at navigating your boat around the harbours and obstacles.
If you prefer you can have a go at tug towing, or why not try both!
Bacon sandwiches will be available from 11.00 to 13.00. Tea and coffee and soft drinks available all day as well as cakes.

Good morning everyone.


Going shopping this afternoon to buy bacon and baps (or buns, teacakes, call them what you like) for butties on Sunday.


How much should I buy?  No idea how many of you will turn up. 


Bacon butties available from about 11.00 until 13.00.


There will also be a carrot cake and lemon drizzle and possibly a Victoria sponge.


See at least some of you on Sunday - weather forecast is fabulous so don’t forget the suncream!

We also had an enjoyable day out , good to see your lobster boat back in the water after the refit Stan ,very impressive.

Glad you enjoyed it, Tim, Sam and Stan. 
Already looking forward to the next one on 18th August.  That will be tug towing, but for the first time this year it will be for teams of three tugs, so a little different :-))

Really enjoyable day, broke one boat resisted temptation in buying another, went home well fed and with a raffle prize which got a thumbs up from Annie. Had some great banter with other members.
Looking forward to the next event.
