Title: ESC setup for twin motors
Post by: SJG001 on July 20, 2019, 06:31:51 pm
I am working on a small model - (https://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,63380.0.html (https://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,63380.0.html)) and need some advice.

The motors that have come with the model are twin 130's  and to be honest I am out of date with options for ESC - can anyone recommend a good setup and esc(s).

Use one per motor, either on two channels to give tank steering or on a Y lead.
Since the motors are unlikely to be scientifically matched, I would go for the former to trim out any missmatch.
Either way, one of them will need to have its red radio wire disconnected to prevent the chance of the BECs fighting.
