I have recently acquired a beautiful model of a Fleet class Tender. It came fitted with some electrics but I couldn't get them to work so I have replaced them with ESC and TX. It also has a sound unit marked...JCC PE310. Can anyone help with the wiring for this please as it lights up but doesn't produce any noise {:-{ . It has a servo lead, power leads and speaker cables. Not sure what voltage it requires. Presently running the boat on 7.2V but 12 volt may be better?
Also can anyone help identify the motor which is marked UB 16F DF? Is this better run on 12V as well?If it is 12V I assume I will have to run a separate lower voltage for the TX, presently running on BEC.

Sadly JJC sound units went out of production many years ago. The unit you have may be a slave unit if this is the case it will not work with out a master unit. Either way there is no back up service for these units. If you have a master unit it should have two green terminal blocks these are for power and speaker connections. It should also have a socket for a jack plug this connects to the slave unit. The later units seemed to prone to problems.
