Interesting, is that 1:40? Sure I have the smaller precedent kit (which I built as one of the 2 turbine German vessels rather than the Perkasa). I thought they were 1:32 or 1:24 scale?
...Looks good anyway. I really hope you build the big trim tab at the transom. I see so many of these without since and when I look at the wake, I think mine looked better with the tab underway (it's drydocked at moment). They always look a bit lacking without also. I never really encountered poor manouverability with mine.

According to Wicky, KD Perkasa was 88 feet long so a 1/40 scale model would be just over 26". 1/32 and 1/24 looks more likely for the two Precedent kits.
