Dear Modellers
Our well known and popular OPEN DAYS will running again to the same format as before.
The dates for 2019 open days are September 6 – 7- 8th
Opening times are 10am - 5pm.
We will have on display over 200 of our models in the showroom
The new OUTLET Centre will be open. Well stocked with our kits and many others items for the boat modeler, plus the marine plastic kit section.
The latest releases to the fleet will be on sale for the first time on the first run system at this event, plus display models of proposed new additions.
Building demonstrations in our workshop, and free help and advice sessions.
Model for sale stand / auction of club and donated models plus a selection of ex Deans Marine models this will be on Saturday only.
Other model traders have been invited.

The will be a Perennial Plants direct plant / flower stall at the show.
There is limited camping and caravanning in the paddock adjacent to the workshops but space must be booked with us, priority will be given to trade and club stands.
There is no charge for entry. A donation box will be at the entrance,
All proceeds will be to local charities, all the staff at the event will be giving time free to help raise funds.

i need to have a chat with our Belgian friends to see if they can bring our models back with them - otherwise the Linkspan stand will look pretty bare!!!!

I'm hoping to attend - my first model boat show since the second Maritime Museum show at Greenwich in the mid 90s.

Trying to- depends on what time I finish on the Friday- my Sqn in their infinite wisdom have put me on a two month Q-Course starting on the 2nd of September- lots of rumours about time off whilst on this course especially on Fridays but can’t get concrete information as to whether it’s an early finish on the first Friday or not. So Friday is in flux at the moment, so I’m checking out the Saturday to make sure that I’m not been volunteered to provide weekend cover- probably not but this Sqn is really not good at communicating this sort of thing until it’s too late! >>:-(
I’m going to the weekend but I don’t know if I can stay or even enjoy any beverages until they confirm it!
I thought Tornado squadrons were bad but don’t get me started with Hercules squadrons!

Hi Carl Theme this year is to all have a good time with all our friends, the Dean Queens have announced that the theme for the fancy dress on Saturday evening is "Horror" if you wish to be part of it, no prizes at all, I said I was not getting costume ? going as I am, but they said that was to scary ? Ha ha - I am with you there mate!!!!
BTW - Simon has been in touch and he is bringing our models back that weekend.
C
