Hello,
I have one of them. I used the graupner jet drives for it but wished I converted to props or used the km drives. They are not very fast and had to improve the motors and speed control and tried different battery setups until I got a good speed out of it. I think two speed control would work better than one. The graupner jet drives are not very strong so be careful with them. They are brittle. It is a easy build and looks good on the water. Not a lot of fittings and the instructions are fairly easy to understand.

Best Regards,
Sean

Hello,
There aren't any step by step instructions for the lighting system but it does show placement. This is not a exact replica of the famed atlantic challenger but more of a scale version of it. The real one has much sharper lines than the graupner kit. I think if you go with the ultra motor you have to build without the gear box so that would take some modifications since the instructions build with the gear box/jet drive system. Its a fairly easy build. The only challenging part is getting all the pieces for the mast structure to fit right.

Best Regards,
Sean
