The January 2020 issue of "Model Boats" has a good 2 page article on this clever sub seen at Bournville last year.

I would love to build one !

The Model Boats magazine article mentions -
three jam jars are bonded together and then bonded to a ply frame work using 'builders high strength transparent adhesive',
can I assume we are talking Silicone Sealant?  of which there are many variants??

I believe there's a special fish tank high strength silicone used to bond the corners of glass aquariums etc?,

any submariners like to advise please??

Paul

When I built my R & R Aquabat I bonded the two hulls together with stuff called Stix Like which is a silicone adhesive, it really works well. I used the same stuff to stick together my Club 500 speed boat.
I think it used be called sticks like ..it bought it in Wicks
